In form hrút agrees with Icel. hrútr a ram, but the word it glosses is treated as an adjective in the other two instances of its occurrence Wonn bruntus, hrút (the MS. has the accent) balidus (cf. balidus dunn, Wrt. Voc. i. 289, 28: dun, ii. 125, 4), Wrt. Voc. ii. 12, 59. v. hrýte.
